 Hua Hin has been a popular tourist destination for years, and has served as a holiday spot for vacationing Thais for decades. Just 3 hours south of Bangkok, and blessed with a temperate climate and comfortable beaches, Hua Hin offers a wide spectrum of activities to the visitor, from sailing to golfing. Accommodations :
Chom View Hotel opened in 1990 and has faithfully served discriminating guests in its convenient yet quiet location just off of the major throughfare of Hua Hin town since. It has 40 rooms. Now, 1997 has seen the opening of Chom View Suites, a complex designed by famed New Zealand architect Marshall Cook featuring 95 rooms of a variety of styles, ranging from a studio to a two-story duplex with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and small kitchen. The Suites have the distinct advantage of being able to easily accommodate a family in one single unit while still retaining the convenience of full service facilities. The unique room layout ensures comfort, added space, and extra quiet and privacy; however, should visitors also desire a night out, the town center is only a short 5 minute drive away.

Climate :
Hua Hin enjoys a temperate, breezy climate made up of three seasons: rainy, cold and hot. Although next to the beach, Hua Hin has the distinction of being one of the driest and coolest areas of Thailand during the summer, while still remaining a relatively short, convenient drive away from Bangkok. High season is during the winter and summer months of November - May, Casual dress is the norm.

Hua Hin is one hour behind Hong Kong, 5 Hours behind Tokyo, and 12 Hours before New York.

Language :
While Thai is the official language, some English is spoken by many. The staff at Chom View is proficient in English.

Getting there :
Three hours drive south of Bangkok by car or bus, a little longer by train.

Facilities :
The complex facilities include a single terrace restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, two swimming pools one near the beach front and another situated in the heart of the complex, a library and a billiard room. The facilities can also accommodate seminar groups of up to 40 people in the large meeting room and up to 10 people in the small meeting room.
