famous authors who have resided at the hotel
- for example, Conrad, Maugham, Michener
and Greene. Others are named after the ships
of Conrad's time that lay at anchor in the
river opposite the hotel. There are 41 luxurious
suites which are individually furnished
and decorated to reflect the origins of
its name.
