Don Muang International Airport
From Bangkok to Pattaya Highway: Pattaya is located 145 kilometres from Bangkok with direct expressway access from Don Muang airport by car, through the Northern Terminal at Morchit by bus and within a few years, to be connected by express rail link (160 kph) to the new airport at Nong Ngu Hao. Direct Flight to U-TAPAO: Charter and regular flights can be obtained to U-Tapao airport (between Pattaya and Rayong) which is less than an hour's drive from Pattaya (between Pattaya and Rayong.) Bus Service: The regular, scheduled half hourly air-conditioned bus service runs from the Pattaya Nua (North) bus terminal to Bangkok's Ekamai bus terminal from 05:40 to 21:00, with the last bus leaving Ekamai to Pattaya at 22:30. The journey takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the Bangkok traffic. |
