You're almost guaranteed to catch something and afterwards enjoy some fresh fish on a BBQ. The crew will be happy to filet the fish for you for a few Baht or a few fish in return.

Nightlife is plentiful: Take your pick. Many beachside disco's, relaxing jazz bars, sports bars are all open to an array of international visitors. Make some new friends! If your style does not quite suit the disco scene, cozy smaller bars with pool tables and a diverse international clientele are spread throughout the island.

Shops of all varieties are plentiful. Don't be afraid to bargain.
